DarkFlash Floatron F1 brings floating design for cooler GPUs

Ana sayfa / Computers

The darkFlash Floatron F1 is not your average m-ATX case. With a floating base and aggressive airflow design, this new chassis from the lesser-known PC brand aims to lower GPU temps and make a statement while doing it.

Founded by DIY PC builders in 2016, darkFlash has been quietly expanding its catalog of cases and components. The Floatron F1 might be their most striking release yet. By lifting the main chassis off its base, the design allows for 64 mm of ground clearance, which the company claims can reduce GPU temperatures by 5–7°C.

That “floating” aesthetic isn’t just for looks; it opens up the entire underside for airflow. The case uses front and side tempered glass while ventilating every other surface to maximize cooling.

PowerA’s new Borderlands 4 Xbox controller launches tomorrow with Hall effect sticks, mappable buttons, and themed art for $99.99.

Inside, the darkFlash Floatron F1 supports GPUs up to 350 mm and CPU coolers up to 185 mm tall. While radiator support is limited to the top (up to 360 mm), fan support is generous:

Storage isn’t ignored either. The base fits two 3.5″ HDDs, and there’s room for two SSDs behind the motherboard tray. The I/O panel includes two USB 3.0 ports and one Type-C port, all placed on the side of the base for easy access.

So far, darkFlash hasn’t revealed pricing or exact release dates. The Floatron F1 will launch in black, a white combo variant, and a Black-Connect Edition, though it’s still unclear what differentiates the latter.

For builders looking to prioritize GPU cooling and stand out with a futuristic look the darkFlash Floatron F1 is shaping up to be a case worth watching.
